This website until recently hosted the sale of surplus books on behalf of the Essex Society for Archaeology & History (ESAH).  For the new link see below.  Founded in 1852 as the Essex Archaeological Society, it exists to encourage the study and enjoyment of local history and archaeology in the historic county of Essex. Full members receive an annual publication, 'Essex Archaeology and History'; make visits to places of interest and have access to the Society's own Library of antiquarian and more recent publications at the Albert Sloman Library, Colchester Campus of the University of Essex. The Essex Society for Archaeology and History has new unboxed copies of 'Essex full of profitable thinges' published in 1996 for sale.  These were "Essays presented to Sir John Ruggles-Brise as a tribute to his life of service to the people and County of Essex".  It was edited by Kenneth Neale.

The books will be available price £6 including postage and packing to a UK address, but only £2 on sale at the Society's events.
